Account in the Bendigo Advertiser, Victoria," Wednesday 11 March 1863
KEROSENE ACCIDENT.-Dr. Preshaw held an inquest this morning, at the Clydesdale Hotel, on the body of Frederick Gotting, who died in the Castlemaine Hospital yesterday, from the effects of severe injuries received from burning keroseno at Chewton, on the 5th instant, when a verdict to the effect that it occurred through, the careless use of kerosene was returned.-Evening News.
