Danish lawyer and fiscal general. He was the son of Hans Uldall Pedersen, and had offices of mayor and bailiffs in Assens and district bailiff. In 1755 he became a student at the age of 12, and took up his father's wish, but much against his own theological studies, after which he spent two in many ways unpleasant years in his home, before he in 1761 went back to Copenhagen to read to legal degree, but abandoned his studies in 1763. With help from Gebhard Christian William Obelitz and Jens Schielderup Sneedorff, he got a space at Elers' College, where he remained for 3 years. In grateful remembrance of what he owed the college, he founded a scholarship in 1791, which was for the graduates. With help from Frederick Christian Sevel, who had as notary, he witnessed Uldall's exam and recommended him to his friend, former Supreme Court lawyer Johan Joachim Anchersen. With his outstanding abilities and his excellent self-expression, he had obtained a name as a lawyer. After the Royal Revolutionen in 1772, Queen Caroline Mathilde asked him to be his defender, and soon after, he also to the case of Johann Friedrich Struensee, for the commission. From both of these difficult cases, with which he conducted the procedures, the King gave him an expensive box. After being Counsellor in 1776, he was appointed to fiscal general in 1783, and appointed deputy Mayor of Copenhagen in 1788.
