ANDERSEN The death occurred yesterday of a well-known resident of Maryborough, Mr. Anders Andersen, aged 76 years. Mr. Andersen came to Australia from Denmark at the age of eight years. Following the trade of coachbuilder. He was for 25 years employed by late Mr. William Mungomery. About 35 years ago he commenced business on his own account, at his residence, later branching out into motor body building. He was a foundation member of Court Robert the Bruce. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and for some years was an officer of the church. He is survived by a family of three sons and four daughters. The sons are Mesrs. Charles Niels, Ernest Andrew and Reginald Graham Anderson, and the daughters are Misses Annie and Doreen Esme Anderson. Mrs.T Birtles, and Mrs. R. Forbes Reid. His wife predeceased him by 14 years. One brother, Mr. N Andersen, resides at Pialba. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from his late residence, Saltwater Creek Road. The late Miss Andersen had resided with her sister, Mrs. J. Birtles, for the past two years. The funeral will take place this morning at 10.30 O'clock from her sister's residence, 136 Walker Street, and will be of a private nature.
