    KERR-TEOEDEL.
The wedding of Mr. Edward John Kerr, eldest son of Mr. Patrick Kerr, of Domain-street, South Yarra and Miss Julia Alice Troedel, eldest daughter of Mr. Charles Troedel, of South Yarra, was quietly celebrated on the 12th April at St. George's Church, Queenscliff, by the Rev. Mr. Wilkinson. The church was very artistically decorated, and at the close of the ceremony the "Wedding March" was played. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very smart travelling dress, and was attended by Miss Alice Kerr (sister of bride groom), who wore a pretty periwinkle blue dress, with black velvet hat; and Miss Elsa Troedel (sister of the bride), a sapphire blue velvet costume and becoming white hat. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold neck chain and silver scentbottle case, with perfumes and to the bridesmaids, gold swallow brooches, set in pearls ; also bouquets of choice hot-house blooms. Mr. Edward Croft was the best man, and Mr. F. Troedel (brother of the bride) was groomsman. The bride's mother wore a rich black brocade, with white chiffon front, handsome jet trimmings. The mother of the bridegroom also wore black brocade with fine lace and jet. After the ceremony a wedding dejeuner and reception was held in the drawing room, which was prettily decorated for the occasion with white flowers and trailing ivy. Mr. and Mrs Kerr then left for Ballarat. On their return they will reside at "Quarely," Toorak-road, South Yarra.
