Lynda Beth Christiansen-Ruhl died September 17, 2007, in Phoenix, AZ. She was born March 1, 1948, in Scotia, CA.
Lynda was a wonderful friend, loving mother and devoted wife, a faithful Jehovah's Witness for more than 40 years. She went to sleep after fighting a long battle, five years, from complications of pancreatic cancer.
She will be greatly missed by all who have been touched, befriended and loved by her. Wherever Lynda went she left a gentle touch and a warm smile with everyone. Her warmth and sincerity was real and honest, and freely given to all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cliff and Millie Christensen; her brother, Kenny Christensen; and grandchild, Maxwell Ruhl.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Douglas Ruhl; children, Bron Roberts, Shon Goucher, Romey Miguell (Daniel) Maple; stepchildren, Brent (Ashley) Ralph; and mother (Jennifer) Ruhl; grandchildren, Alex, Alexis, Megan, Trevor, Dylan, Riley, Colby, Zach, Kensey, Nicholas, Titus, Pamela; and too many friends, bible students and extended family to name.
All of us who knew and loved Lynda are eagerly awaiting to see her again in paradise.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 13, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Fortuna, CA

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Christiansen of Loleta have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lynda Beth to Jerry Stephen Roberts.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Roberts of Fortuna. The couple plans are for a June 10 wedding.
Miss Christiansen was graduated in 1965 from Fortuna High School. She is now a bookkeeper for Roberts Equipment in Fortuna.
Her fiance is also a 1966 graduate of Fortuna high. Roberts is a graduate of Mater Barber College of Sacremento and plans to begin his profession after obtaining his journeyman license in the near future.
