    WEDDINGS
    MCCARTHY - FAGERSTROM. St. Patrick's Church, South Townsvllle, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday, 4th June, when John Henry, only son of Mrs L. McCarthy, West End, Townsville, and Florence Ethel, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fagerstrom, Old Rifle Range, South Townsville, were united in holy wedlock. Rev. Father Bray officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father was daintily gowned in an ankle length frock of white Duchess satin, inlet with side flares, and wore an exquisite veil of embroidered tulle, with coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of beautiful white roses and asparagus fern, made and given by Mrs. H. Marshall sister of the bride. The bride was attended by Miss Irene McCarthy sister of the bridegroom and Miss Olive Marshall, niece of the bride. They were frocked allke in dainty lemon organdie frocks with hats to match and carried bouquets of pink and cream hand made flowers. Miss Doris Fagerstrom, youngest sister of the bride who attended as third bridesmaid wore a pretty frock of pink organdie with crinoline hat to match and carried a posy of pink and cream roses. Mr. Charles Hume ably carried out the duties of best man and Mr. Les. Hoey acted as grooms man. After the ceremony. Mrs Fagerstrom assisted by her daughter received their guests at their residence. Only relatives and intimate friends being present. After the breakfast, dancing, singing and games were indulged in until the early hours of the morning
