    • The death occurred at his late residence Flint street, North Ipswich, on Saturday afternoon, of Mr. Richard Brassey, one of tho oldest employees of the Railway Department (our Ipswich correspondent advised last night) Deceased joined the railway service a few years after it had started. Up till four or five years ago he was an engine-driver, and latterly had retired from the service. He leaves a grown-up family. The funeral took place this afternoon, at the Ipswich Cemetery.
