OBITUARY
MR. J. BELL
Mr. James Bell, a respected resident of Biggenden, died on Monday at the residence of his son, Mr. Ralph Bell, Nikenbah. He was a native of Queensland. He spent thirty-eight years of his life at Yangan. During the following five years he resided at Kingaroy, engaging in farming. With his wife and family, he then moved to Biggenden, where he had resided for the past 24 years.
Mines State school was one field of his activities, and he was secretary for the school committee for fifteen years. He was a prominent worker for the Church of England until ill-health compelled him to retire. He is survived by his wife, four sons-Messrs. Claude and Percy (Monto), Roy (Biggenden) and Ralph (Nikenbah) and two daughters. Mrs. Piggott (Monto) and Miss Daisy Bell (Biggenden). There are also four grandchildren. The funeral took place to the Nikenbah cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Tomlinson. of Howard, officiated.

After twenty-four year's residence in Biggenden, Mr. James Bell died at his son's residence at the age of 67 years. He is survived by his widow, four sons, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
