    OBITUARY
    MRS. G. F. SCHMIDT.
    The death of Mrs. Alma Julia Schmidt wife of Mr. G. F. Schmidt, of Cordalba, occurred in the Isis Hospital on Thursday night, July 11, after a lengthy illness. The deceased lady was born at Pialba 56 years ago, being the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lar. List, of Pialba. She was married to Mr. Gustav Felix Schmidt in the year 1909 and spent most of her married life in the Isis district where she was well-known and highly respected. Of a quiet and unassuming disposition, the deceased lady devoted her efforts towards the welfare of her home and the up bringing of her family.
    Mrs. Schmidt was also well known in the Pialba district and at Monto, where many friends learned with regret of her passing.

    She is survived by her husband, four daughters and one son, namely Mrs. E. F. Coomber (Cordalba), Mrs. W. A. Tullipan (Sydney), Mrs. W. H. Sanderson (Imbil), Mrs. D. R. Royan, junr.(Cordalba), Mr. Colin F. Schmidt (Cordalba); also nine grandchildren, four sisters. Mesdames Bert Howard (Maryborough), Ralph Bell (Pialba), Ted Knight (Monto), and Miss Myra List (Pialba), eight brothers Messrs Chris Maryborough), Dave (Torbanlea), Frank (Buxton), Henry (Howard), Alex (Monto). Percy (Pialba), Andrew (Patterson Siding, and Len List (Monto).
