GOLDEN WEDDING
MR and MRS H. J. KUNST
A reunion of all the members of the family of Mr and Mrs H. J. Kunst, "Greenwood", Munna Creek took place at their residence on Sunday, 13th July, to celebrate the golding wedding of this venerable couple, who have figured as prominently in the affairs of the district for many years.
The family includes three married daughters, one married son, and three sons unmarried. A photograph was taken of the family, the group showing Mr. and Mrs. Kunst and thirty descendants.
At the wedding breakfast, Mr J. F. Kunst (brother), after referring briefly to the early days, proposed the health of "The Bride and Bridegroom".
Mr. and Mrs. Kunst are at present in the best of health, and are looking forward to their "diamond" anniversary. Mr. Kunst was born on 8th October, 1818, in Schleswick, Germany, and arrived in Queensland on 3rd August 1871. Mrs Kunst was born in Bath, Somerset, England, on 22nd February 1856, and arrived in Australia in October 1871. They were married in Maryborough on 13th July 1874. Mr. and Mrs. Kunst have resided in the Tiaro district ever since their arrival in the State, during which time Mr Kunst has been occupied in farming and grazing. Mr Kunst's three brothers- Messrs F. J. Kunst, H. P. Kunst and C. H. Kunst-were present. Mr H. J. Kunst is the oldest brother, and it was on his advice that the other three brothers left their homeland to try their luck in this colony. All of the four brothers have settled on areas quite close to one another, and have been very successful. The three younger brothers presented Mr and Mrs Kunst with two very comfortable leather cushion armchairs.
Mr H. J. Kunst has had a wonderful health record, and, as he states, has never been seriously ill in his life, and has never had to consult a doctor. Some time ago Mrs Kunst had an attack of severe illness, but she has quite recovered, and is at present quite well. Mr and Mrs Kunst have eighteen grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

KUNST.-In loving memory of Arar., wife and mother, Jane Kunst, who passed away October 5,1829.
There is someone who misses you sadly, And finds the years hard since you went
There is someone who thinks of you daily,
But tries to be brave end content.
Our hearts cannot tell how we loved you,
Our lips do not know what to say.
But God only knows how we miss yon,
In our home that is lonely to-day.
