HANSEN - On May 10, 1925, at his son's (Mr G. C. Hansen), residence, Dagun, Many Peaks Line, Gympie district, Christian Tostensen Hansen, of Pialba, and beloved husband of Johanna Marie Hansen, aged 81 years.
OBITUARY - Maryborough Chronicle dated 12 May 1925:
A well known resident of Pialba and district in the person of Mr Christian Totensen Hansen, passed peacefully away at his son's residence, Dagan, Mary Valley line yesterday. The deceased who was 81 years of age had experienced ill health for the past few months. He was one of the early pioneers of Pialba, and had been engaged in farming there. The late Mr Hansen had married twice, his first wife have predeceased him. He is survived by his widow Mrs Johanna Marie Hansen and a grown-up family, namely Mr G. C. Hansen (Dagan), Mr A. H. Hansen (Goomburrum) and Mr E. Hansen (Finch-Hatton, Mackay) to mourn their sad loss.
