[Assisted Emmigration to Queensland]
The Anglo Indian, from Glasgow, via ports, arrived at the gardens yesterday morning. The immigrants were transhipped and landed at the depot. The Anglo Indian will be berthed at Messrs. Parbury, Lamb, and Baft's wharf today, where she will commence discharging cargo. It should be mentioned that the Anglo-Indian, which is a vessel measuring 283ft. in length, came up the river without the assistance of a tug, under the charge of Pilot Brown, who brought her from the anchorage to her destination in the short time of one hour and forty-five minutos. The vessel has splendid steering capabilities, and came round the awkward corner at Kangaroo Point without diffiiculty.
