    WEDDING.
    JOHNSON-JEPPESEN.
A wedding of of more than usual interest was celebrated at St. Paul's Church, Taabinga Village, on Wednesday last, the 18th August, when Miss Catherine Margaret (Kate) Jeppesen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Jeppesen, of Coolabunia West, was married to Mr. C. J. Johnson, third son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson, of Eglington Station, Alexandria, Victoria. The Rev. O. Oberlin Harris, M.A., was the officiating clergyman. The Church had been tastefully decorated with flowers, land greenery girl friends of the bride, under the superintendence of Mr. Luke Fisher. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a lovely gown of white Oriental satin, trimmed with pearls and silk shadow lace, scolloped hip yoke, with kilted tunic, court train, lined with shell pink silk, edged with silk shadow lace and finished with horse-shoes of pearls and orange blossoms. A mop cap wreath and veil completed, a charming toilet. She carried, a shower bouquet of white roses, sweet peas, and asparagus fern.

Miss. Elsie Jeppesen, the chief bridesmaid, was daintily attired in helio trope silk, trimmed with cream guipure lace, French knots and pearls. White net Breton hat trimmed lilac, with black velvet streamers. Her posy of flowers was of white roses and lilies. Miss Millie Jeppesen, the second bridesmaid, looked charming in white Jap. silk finished with white kilted lace. She wore a cream hat relieved with pink roses, and carried a bunch of forget-me-nots and ferns. Miss Essie Fisher, niece of the bride, a tiny tot dressed a la Kate Greenaway, looked very sweet as train bearer. Master Dess Jeppesen, nephew of the bride, had the important office of cushion-bearer. Wearing a court suit of white silk with Napoleon hat, he performed his duties in great style. Mr. C. Creighton, of Alexandria, Victoria, acted as best man, and Mr. Albert Jeppesen as groomsman. Miss. Hilda Warren presided at the organ, and played "The Voice That Breathed o'er Eden", and Mendelssohn's Wedding March.

After the ceremony the bridal party motored to "Lyntoft," the residence of the bride's, parents, where the reception. was held. The guests were afterwards entertained at a recherche breakfast in a marquee erected on the lawn. The Rev. Oberlin. Harris presided, and the usual toasts were given and honoured. The happy couple received a number of presents, including cheques from the bridegroom's people in Victoria. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a gold Albert and charm. The bridegroom gave the bride a jewelled pendant, the bridesmaids gold brooches, a gold chain and heart to the train-bearer and a serviette ring to the cushion-bearer. The bridal pair left Kingaroy by the evening train, en route for Victoria, where the honeymoon will be spent. The brides traveling dress of brown cloth with hat to match. The wedding cake was supplied by Messrs Row and Neilsen and the bridal robe was the work of Miss Dossel. Mrs. V.L. Jeppesen designed and made the charming dresses and millinery worn, by the bridesmaids. The handsome white satin cushions used at the ceremony were given by the cushion bearer's granddmother, Mrs. King, late of Maryborough.

A very interesting guest at the wedding was Mrs. Peter Bundesen senr., a sweet-faced old lady of 80 odd summers, still hale and sprightly, who sat beaming at her many descendants, who formed the major portion of the gathering.
