    The Relatives and friends of of the late MRS. JOHANNA THOMSEN and family are invited to attend her funeral, to move from her late residence, No 286 Pallas Street, THIS (FRIDAY) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock for the Maryborough Cemetery.

    MRS. JOHANNA THOMPSON
    While shopping in the city yesterday Mrs, Johanna Thompson (78), of Pallas street suddenly collapsed. She was removed to hospital, but died a few hours later. The late Mrs. Thompson was
    born in Jutland, Denmark. She later came to Queensland and with her husband, the late Mr. Andreas Thompson, engaged in general farming pursuits, at Deborah, Tiaro, for 45 years, helping in the pioneering work of that district. Five years ago they came to Maryborough to live in retirement. Her husband predeceased her three years ago. The late Mrs. Thompson leaves a family of three sons,-Messs. Andrew (Maryborough), Griffith (Tiaro), Sydney (Brisbane, and two daughters, Mrs. A. C. Lawson (Deborah), and Miss Dora Elizabeth Thompson (Maryborough. There are also 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two sisters, Mesdames Nills Hoberg (Pialba) and Larsen (Gyupie) also survive.
    The funeral will take place this afternoon at three o'clock from her late residence, No. 286 Pallas-street.
