    A well known and respected resident of Slxth-street, South Townsville, for the past 22 yeas, Mrs. Alice Winning, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 62 years, after an extended illness. The deceased, whose husband predeceased her 22 years ago. She is survived by a grown up family, two sons, Archie and Andy being well known in Rugby League circles.
