"Defendant bad been interviewed and had refused to pay, stated Sargeant McGreevy, when Horace Hold, Patrick street, Dalby, was charged with having failed to apply for a renewal of the registration fee for a Dodge motor utlllty not later than 14 days prior to the expiration of the period of registration. There was no appearance of defendant and the case was heard exparte. Sgt. McGreevy said he was authorised to prosecute on behalf of the Main Roads Commission, and said that 14/ was owing on a pro rata payment. An amount of 10/ for cancellation fee was also, owing. Defendant was fined £1 and ordered to pay £1/4/, with 6/ costs of court, in default levy and distress, in default three days' imprisonment. Although nobody was Injured, one of the vehicles was damaged almost beyond repair when a utility truck, driven by Horace Hold, of Brisbane Street, Beaudesert, came into collision with a larger truck, driven by Mr. Bollman, of Rocklea, at the corner of Beaudesert Road and Marshall Street, Rocklea, yesterday afternoon. It Is understood that Bollman's truck was coming from the side street and was turning into the main road, when it was struck by the utility truck coming from Beaudesert. Photos		Horace Hold in his 82nd year Bike trailer solves problem Urangan resident Horace Hold came up with a novel idea when they wouldn't renew his driver's licence. Horace, or Ho as he is affectionately known, built a trailer for his pushbike. anytime he wants to go fishing in his dingy, ho loads the moter into the trailer and pedals the 300 metres to his boat. "It's alright going out but coming home it's uphill all the way,". When asked about his age, Ho merely laughed. (Maryborough Chronicle, Friday, 20 April 1979)
