- MALENY CHILD'S FATAL COLLAPSE
Following a collapse on Friday last, the death oc curred of Keith, sixyear n?d son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Flesser, of Reesvillc, Maleny. The child was in gocd spirits on Thursday evening before re tiring to bed, but was noticed to be off colour at breakfast on Friday morning. He later lapsed into 'unconsciousness and died shortly after 1 p.m. The cause of his death at that time was obscure. A post mortem held at Nam bour revealed that death was due to brain haemorrhage The funeral, which left the Malenv Presbyterian Church for tho Witta cemetery, was very largely attended.

- Flesser-Wilkins.
The marriage of Mr.J. Flesser (youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. C.Flesser, Reesville) and Miss Janet May (Jean) Wilkins (eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Wilkins) was solemnised by the Rev. A. Saunders (Maleny) at the home of Miss J. Traill, Landsborough, on March 15. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in white crepe de Chine, with a matching coatee. Her embroidered tulle veil was arranged in cap fashion, and she carried a bouquet of white gerberas and asparagus fern. Miss Mary Wilkins attended her sister as bridesmaid, and Mr. A. Flesser (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. Later a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where Mrs. Wilkins received the guests. The two-tier cake was made and decorated by Mr. W. Walker, of Maleny. On leaving for the honeymoon, which will be spent in Sydney. Mrs. Flesser wore a travelling frock of brown Marocain, and a straw hat to tone.
