      A quiet wedding was celebrated by Rev, Father McCormack the Sacred Heart Church, Moruya, on Wednesday, 31st May. The contracting parties were Miss Irene Lawler, fourth daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. James Lawler, "Forest Home," Cadgee, and Mr.
      Charles Curtis, third son of Mr. John Curtis, Canberra, The bride was attired in. a cream accordeon pleated crepe de chene dress handsomely embossed. She wore the usual wreath
      and veil, arranged in mob cap style, and carried a beautiful bouquet of roses, presented by Mrs. Lennard, Bodalla Hotel. The bride was attendeod by Miss Mavis Curtis, sister of the bridegroom, dressed in white voile,
      prettily embroidered with pink and wore a short, veil, with wreath of roses and a gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Leo Pike, nephew of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party adjourned Piks's residence, where light refreshments were partaken of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis then left per car for Sydney, where the honeymoon is being spent. The bride's travelling dress was of nigger brown flannel with hat
      to match.
