HANSEN.-On October 25, 1937, at Maryborough, Hans Hansen, late of Torquay, beloved father of Peter Andres, and Christian Hansen, and Mrs. M. C. Dugan; aged 60 years.

MR. HANS HANSEN
Mr. Hans Hansen, who had been a resident of the Maryborough district since 1873, passed away in Maryborough yesterday. Born at Fejen, Denmark, 80 years ago, Mr. Hansen landed in Maryborough at the age of 20. After residing here for some years he took up land at Nikenbah where he engaged in farming. For the past ten years he had lived in retirement at Torquay. He was a member of the Pialba Shire Council, and later was associated with the Burrum Council when the Pialba shire was merged with others. His wife predeceased him many years ago. He is survived by two sons. Messrs. Peter Andres (Torquay) and Christian (Brisbane), and one daughter, Mrs. M. C. Dugan (Torquay). There are also nine surviving grandchildren. The funeral will reach the Nikenbah cemetery at three o'clock this afternoon.
