The marriage of Miss Mary Morris (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Morris, of Mapleton) with Mr. J. C. Dixon, jun. (son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dixon. Flaxton), was celebrated at the residence of the bride's parents, The Palms, Mapleton, on. April 20. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. O. B. Watts in the dining room of The Palms. The bride was given away by her father, and was attended by her sister, Miss Jessie Morris, as bridesmaid. Mr. Frank Suther officiated as best man. The wedding-breakfast was served on the spacious veranda, which was nicely decorated. The bride wore a pretty gown of ivory crepe de Chine, with tunic effect and Oriental silk embroidery, and a square-cut train hung from the shoulders. The tulle, veil was arranged in mop cap style over a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and ferns, with long white satin streamers. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dixon, jun, left for Montville, en route to Tweed Heads, where the honeymoon will be spent. The guests were
subsequently entertained by Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Morris.
