Adam Christopher Holsten-Charisius
Adam Christopher county baron Holsten - Charisius , born Holsten ( 3 December 1793 in Copenhagen , died 19 October 1879 on Langesø ) was a Danish landowner and diplomat , brother of Fritz Holsten-Lehn-Charisius .
He was the son of county baron Hans Holsten , visited Basedows Institut in Copenhagen and became 1811 student (privately graduated), 1815 cand. jur. , and the same year protocol secretary in the Supreme Court , 1816 legation secretary in Madrid and chamberlain , same year legation secretary in Stockholm , 1819 Knight of Dannebrog , 1823 in Berlin and 1825 dismissed. In 1828 he became chamberlain , in 1836 Dannebrogsmand , in 1841Commander of Dannebrog and took over the barony Holstenshuus in 1849 after his father . Upon his takeover of the Charisic Fideicommis, he added "Charisius" to his name.
In 1866 he became a secret conference councilor , in 1877 the Grand Cross of Dannebrog and died on 19 October 1879 on Langesø.
May 9, 1826 he married Augusta Magdalene Friccius von Schilden (November 16, 1797 in Itzehoe - June 16, 1846 on Langesø).
