WILLIAM JOPLIN
William Joplin of Oroville, CA passed away on October 22, 2016. He was born on December 19, 1930 in Wallowa, OR to parents David and Violet Joplin. Bill and his wife Barbara moved to Oroville in 1966 when he purchased the McColl's Distributorship, where he spent 25 years faithfully delivering dairy products to the Oroville schools and numerous local businesses. Bill is survived by his son William Joplin and his wife Barbara of Truckee, his daughter Teresa Gesicki and her husband Lou of Sacramento, his grandchildren Jessica Joplin, Kiel Gesicki and wife Kelly, Nicholas Gesicki and Kate Davis and husband Joshua. He was also blessed with two great- grandsons, Oliver Gesicki and Jacob Davis. In addition, Bill is survived by his sister Florence Feimer, his nieces and nephews, and many longtime friends. He was proceeded in death by his lovely wife Barbara and his grandson Chaz Joplin, as well as several brothers and sisters. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Bill, we will miss you until we are all together again.
