JOHN MURPHY.
The death occurred recently in Casino Memorial Hospital of John Joseph Murphy, of Mongogarie, at the age of 17 years following injuries received at South Casino. He was a son of Mr. J. J. Murphy, late of Mongogarie. Since the death of
his mother 14 years ago he had resided with his grandmother. Mrs. M. Turner, his sister Doreen and uncle and aunt at Mongogarie. Other relatives included aunties Mrs. F.
Cummings (Casino), Mrs. J. Perkins (Springrove), Mrs. C. Hancock (Fairy Hill) and Mrs. C. Marshall (Clunes). Interment took place in the Presbyterian portion of Casino Cemetery following a service in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. The
service was conducted by Rev. R. A. Bell. Pall-bearers were Messrs. Harold and Laurie Hancock. Ray and Jim Perkins, Doug and Gordon Cumming (cousins). Funeral arrangements were by Trevor D. Bevan.
