Mr. F. VIERITZ.
Another of the pioneers of the
North Coast, Mr. K. Vierilz. passed
away at his home in the Peachester
district on December 21, at the age
of 75 years. Deceased was a native
of Europe, and name to Queensland
when quite young, first residing at
Pimpama Island. In 1888 he moved
to Peachester. Mr. Vieritz for many
years farmed in a small way, but was
chiefly employed by the Caboolture
Shire Council when it embraced the
territory now controlled by the Ma-
roochy and Landsborough shires. He
was an employee of the Landsborough
Council, retiring about four years ago.
The deceased leaves a wife and two
son. Messrs. W. and C. Vieritz. of
Peachester. and four daughters. Mes-
dames A. H. Yates. of Woodford, G.
Turner, of Caboolture. P. Harris and
F. Butler, of Peachester.
