Born May 16, 1904, in Orion Township to William Sherman and Amanda Olson Ketcham, she married Alvin Stell on Aug. 18, 1929, in Topeka, Kan. He died Dec. 7, 1992. She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Surviving are one son, John of Topeka, Kan.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A 1924 graduate of Brown's Business College, she worked for the Canton Daily Ledger and Mutual Savings and Loan. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 46 for more than 50 years. Born May 16, 1904, in Orion Township to Sherman and Amanda Olson Ketcham, she married Alvin Stell on Aug. 18, 1929, in Topeka, Kan. He died Dec. 7, 1992. She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Surviving are one son, John of Topeka, Kan.; two grand-children; and one great-grandchild. She was a 50-year member of Evening Star Chapter No. 46 of Order of Eastern Star in Canton, Ill. She married Alvin Stell on Aug. 18, 1929, in Topeka. He died Dec. 7, 1992. Survivors include a son, John Stell, Topeka, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. today at Murphy-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Canton, Ill.
