    POMONA CEREMONY.
A pretty wedding took place at the Church of England, Pomona, on July 25. when Miss Winifred Jessie Schellbach. second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Schellbach, Pomona, was married to Mr. Lawrence Thomas Kunst, eldest son of Mr. F. Kunst, of Miva, and the late Mrs. Kunst. The Rev. A. A. Schubert, of Nambour, performed the ceremony. Mrs. Thomson played the Wedding March. The bride entered the church on the arm of her only brother, Mr. Reuben Schellbach, who gave her away. The bride was gowned in a white locust crepe de Chine moulded to the figure. The skirt was panelled with angel skin lace and pin tucks. The long sleeves were inlet with lace forming to a point on to the hand, and the bodice featured a cowl neckline. A long train was shirred a little and mounted with orange blossoms and silver bows. Her richly embroidered veil was worn with a halo effect. She carried a shower bouquet of white jonquils and maiden hair fern tied with white satin streamers. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Marjorie Schellbach, as chief, and Miss Violet Kunst (sister of the groom). Both bridesmaids were gowned alike in new blue matalasse. The bodice was prettily cowled and shirred on the shoulders and the waistline. The skirts were cut on the cross. They wore blue tulle veils, mounted with pink roses with a silver halo effect, and carried bouquets of sweepeas and carnations tied with pink satin streamers. Mr. Rudy Kunst (brother of the bridegroom) attended as best man, and Mr. Peter Andreasson was groomsman. During the signing of the register Mrs. V. Depper sang 'Because.' The bride's gift to the groom was a gold wristlet watch, the groom's gift to the bride being a navy handbag, and to the bridesmaids a handbag. The best man and groomsman each received a xylonite collar box. The reception was held in the 'Kia-Ora' Cafe, where the bride's mother, gowned in navy swallow crepe de Chine with hat and shoes to match, received 60 guests. The bridegroom's step-mother chose a mastic crepe de Chine with hat and shoes to match. A three-tier wedding cake, made by Miss Ford (a friend of the bride), held pride of place on the table, which was tastefully decorated with sweet peas, carnations, and stocks, with pink, blue, and white streamers. On leaving for the honeymoon, which will be spent in Brisbane and on the South Coast, Mrs. L. T. Kunst wore a navy silk woollen crepe de Chine costume with floral accessories, navy hat and shoes to match. The happy couple will make their future home at Pomona.
