    MALENY RESIDENT'S DEATH.
    MALENY, June 10.
    The death of Mrs. Esther Jane Rees occurred at her residence, Reesville, Maleny, on June 2, at the age of 61 years. The late Mrs. Rees was born at Hemmant, Brisbane, In 1867, and in 1888 was married to Mr. H. O. Rees. Her husband predeceased her five years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Rees came to Maleny in 1897 and engaged successfully in dairying. The late Mrs. Rees was of a kind and gentle personality, and greatly endeared herself to all who came in contact with her. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning to the Bulimba Cemetery. The deceased leaves one daughter, Mrs. A. J. Cranney, and three sons, Henry Oliver, Edgar J., and Lennard H., all, of whom reside at Maleny.
