• Obituary: 13 May 2007, San Francisco Chronicle ; Beth Meryl Kristy Beth Meryl Kristy December 5, 1924 - February 18, 2007 Born Beth Meryl Krause in San Francisco, Beth graduated from Mission High School in 1942. She was married first to Clifford Robcke (two daughters) and then to Fred Kristy (one daughter). Both marriages ended in divorce. She retired as the textbook manager from the College of Marin in 1989 and moved to Folsom, CA. In her retirement years, Beth proved herself as an accomplished artist, working first in acrylics and then in oil pastels. She produced a number of portraits and landscapes, many on commission. Her happiest times were attending art classes or producing art. Beth is remembered as a talented artist, a beautiful and tolerant person who was easygoing and loving. Her health made for a difficult few years and in the end, she welcomed her final rest. Beth is survived by her brother Harlan "Hal" Krause of Honolulu; her daughter Linda Giguere, former son-in-law Steve, and granddaughter, Nicole of Fair Oaks; her daughter Vicki Hennessy, son-in-law, Jim, granddaughter, Erin Marie, grandson, Patrick, of San Francisco; and her daughter Sloan Kristy of Fairfax.
