Mr. William Hay, an old resident of Kangaroo Creek, who died at South Grafton on Saturday, was buried in the
Coutts' Crossing cemetery yesterday afternoon. The late Mr. Hay was 59 years of age, and came from Scottish parents, who emigrated to Australia. He lived practically all his life on Kangaroo Creek, and was a prominent member and
supporter of the Presbyterian Church. The members of the committee acted as pallbearers, and the funeral was largely attended. Deceased leaves a wife and three children.
