    WEDDING BELLS.
    JEPPESEN-MATSEN.
    A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Church, Mackay, on Wednesday, May 2nd, by the Rev. P. L. Ash, the contracting parties being Miss Mabel I. Matsen, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Matsen, Homnbush, and Mr. Albert F. Jeppesen, of Kingaroy, Queensland. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked dainty in a pretty frock of ivory georgette, heavily beaded in silver and pearl beads over ivory satin; her pretty bridal veil wass made in Quaker style, with girdle of pearls and silver braid beautifully embossed; she carried a sheaf boquet of roses, and dahlias. with maiden hair fern, finished with silver ribbon and tulle streamers. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss V. Matsen, who looked graceful in a pretty frock of ivory satin, with panels of radium lace, finished with rainbow girdle and beaded in the same shade; she wore, a becoming hat of white satin, finished with silver and carried a boquet of pink roses, with pink and blue streamers, and wore the bridegroom's gift a gold armlet. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. W. E. Matsen as best man. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to Coben's Cafe, where Mrs. Matsen senr. received in a gown, of black satin with hat to match. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a silver mounted Morocco writing case and the bride presented the bridegroom with a gold watch chain. Mr. and Mrs. Jeppesen left by mail train for Rockhampton, the .bride travelling in a smart frock of navy crepe-de-Chine, inlet with grey, and hat to match. The presents were costly including many cheques.
