    ARROWROOT.
Samples of arrowroot made by Mr. J.
    A. Thomson, of Buckenbour, Nelligen,
from the nut of a plant known locally as
Burrawang, were forwarded to the curator
of the Sydney Technological Museum for
analysis. They were found to contain 82
per cent, of starch granules. A sample
was also microscopically examined, and its constituents and qualities are comparable with the best of Bermuda and St. Vincent arrowroots. The analyst adds that he had a sample prepared in many ways for the table, with excellent results, and he does not see why it should not be a marketable product.
