    FUNERAL NOTICE
    Relatives and friends of the late HERMANN RUDOLPH DEUTSCHMANN are respectfully invited to attend his funeral to move THIS (SATURDAY) MORNING, from St. Mary's Catholic Church, at 10 o'clock, for the Maryborough Cemetery. A Requiem Mass will be held at 6.30 a.m.

    R. H. R. DEUTSCHMANN.-There passed away at Mary borough on October 21, an old identity of Nikembah, Mr. Hermann Rudolph Deutschmann. The late Mr. Deutschmann was born at Maryborough and at an early age went to Nikenbah, where he was occupied in farming until the last five years ago when he retired owing to ill health. He was a member of the Burrum Shire Council for six years and honorary secretary of the Urangan Road School for 25 years. He also held the office of honorary secretary of other committees in the Nikenbah district and took an active interest in the betterment of the district. When he retired he came to Maryborough and has resided here for the last five years. He was also a member of the St. Michael's Branch H.A.C.B.S., (Maryborough). He leaves a sorrowing wife, Mrs. Anna Deutschmann, one son, Joseph (Childers), and three daughters. Mrs. F. B. Christensen (Pialba), Mrs. L. H. Wegener (Maryborough), and Mrs. Geo. Thomas (Brisbane). There is also one brother, Mr. Charlie Deutschmann (Pialba), and one sister. Miss Florrie Deutschmann (Pialba). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father and mother and three brothers.
