GOLFERS HARRIED
Bertelsen-Webber
TWO well-known golfers were married quietly last evening at the Chapel of the Marist Mission House, Glenlyon
The bridegroom was Mr. Oscar Anton Bertelsen, 1939 champion of the Royal Queensland Golf Club, and handicapper at that club. The bride, who is an associate of the same club, was Miss Bridie Ellen Webber (elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Webber, Ashgrove). The bridegroom is the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Bertelsen, Gympie. The Rev. Father J. Webber (brother of the bride) officiated. Burgundy accessories were worn by the bride with her street-length frock of dusky pink crepe, which was topped by a hip-length coat of the same fabric, and finished with a shoulder spray of carnations and Geraldton wax. After the ceremony guests, were entertained at the bride's parents' home, Ashgrove. On their return from spending their honeymoon on Heron Island, Mr. and Mrs. Bertelsen will live at Hamilton Road, Hamilton.
MR. OSCAR BERTELSEN and his bride, who was Miss Bridie Webber, were showered with confetti as they left the Marist Chapel yesterday after their wedding.
