Comments: Further to information previously provided about John Grundon (id4577), notes provided by his late daughter Gladys (Wolfenden) indicate his year of death was 1967 and not 1963. Gladys's daughter Kay advises that she remembers John died after she commenced working in 1966.

In September 2017 I photographed the projection of Pte Surtees Grundon's name on the dome of the Australian War Memorial. As part of the commemoration of the centenary of WW1 all of the fallen from WW1 whose names are on the wall of remembrance at the AWM are having their name projected onto the dome for 30 seconds.
