  	GENERAL NEWS. OBITUARY. The death of Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth Hodges occurred at Maryborough on Saturday afternoon last. The deceased young lady was born at Pialba and previous to her marriage, which took place only last year to Mr. Roland Ernest Hodges, was a populur member of sporting and social circles at the Bay. She was well liked on account of her genial and cheery personality and her sudden death came as a severe shock to a large circle of relatives and friends. The late Mrs. Hodges was survived by her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Blake of Pialba, and in addition by one brother, William, and a sister, Doris, both of Pialba. The deceased was also a granddaughter of Mr. R. Stephenson, of Nikenbah. The funeral will move from the Danish Chapel at Nikenbah this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and the interment will take place in the Nikenbah Cemetery.
