Biography
Povl Olrik's favorite sculptural material was wood, but he has also worked with portrait busts in clay, which were then cast in plaster. In addition to the naturalistic sculptures, he has created a large number of decorative works in wood, bronze and stucco, among others. to several of the brother-in-law, architect Carl Brummer's villas. Finally, he has restored and partially reconstructed the Navy shipyard's collection of old galleon figures.
