  	DEATH OK MR. R. F. GOODFELLOW The death occurred suddenly at Moss Vale on Friday afternoon of Mr. Robert Francis Goodfellow who was widely known in that district. He carried out many contracts for road works during the time of the Moss Vale Municipal Council and was later the senior member of its maintenance staff. A few years ago, he re tired from the service of the council to work for the Southern Portland Cement Company, but relinquished this position as a result of failing health. Mr. Goodfellow was an active worker for the Australian Labor Party and had been president and held other executive offices in the Moss Yale branch. Seventy-one years of age at the time of his death, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Goodfellow and was born at Avoca, but went to Moss Vale to live, many years ago. A widow and an adult family of which Frank and Lorna (both of Moss Vale) and Mrs. Mauger of Robertson, are resident in this district, survive. Mr. Dick Goodfellow of Avoca is a brother of deceased and another brother Sid, is resident in Sydney. The Southern Mail, Bowral, NSW, Friday, 31 March 1950
