  	DEATH OF MR. S. WAllIS Mr. Samuel Walliis, one of the districts oldest identies passed away at his home at Moss Vale last week at the age of 82 years. He had been in iil-health for a week prior to his death, and this was the first illness he had had in his life. - near the Three Legs of Man Hotel. A familiar figure at local shows, where he had been competitor in his younger days, he was known to young and old snd endeared himself to all by his kindly disposition. Last Berrima District Show was the first he had missed since the inception of the society. He married Louisa Goodfellow, who with their four sons, Frank, Harry and Charlie (Moss Vale) and Samuel (Goulburn), and three daughters, Mary (Mrs. Clarkson), Eva (Mrs. Fairburn) and Ada (Mrs. Sutton survive.In addition, there are 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. One son Edward,, died about seven years ago. Burial took place in the Church of England portion of Bong Bong cemetery on Sunday, Rev. H. G. S. Begbie officiating.
